This message is about George Patrick O’Neil who lives in the U.K. George is a devoted husband and father, who patiently likes to fix things. He runs a bird rescue effort in his village, and he also knows a thing or two about human rescue.

“There are people out there that need help. Like the birds. . . you don’t give up on them just because they’ve injured themselves . . . One person can sort a lot out”

  1. MoSop, thanks so much. You know, Hull was in my mission. I loved those people so much like George. They are my other home and my mission was one of the greatest blessings in my life. One of the young men that I baptized is coming to visit this July. I haven’t seen him in 10 years and he is bringing his sister who joined the church severl years later. That’s my legacy and my joy is more full than I know. My other thought this last week is when President Uchtdorf said we need ro leave behind the ATV’s and expensive cars and vacations and that. We will have no greater blessing and investment than that of serving a mission. My wife said she had had a dream the night before that she had served another mission only she was called Sister Bloom. She did not have a very good expwriwnce on her mission and I am hoping that I can take her again one day and help her have a much more enjoyable experience. Thanks for your thought today. I have a special place in my heart for rainy beautiful England!
