Tennessee Missionaries Perform A Bluegrass Tune

Six full-time missionaries serving in the Tennessee Nashville Mission [TNM] for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a local member recently recently spent a “P-Day” [ ‘preparation day] sharing their musical talents becoming YouTube recording artists! 🙂 They sure do represent the musical state of Tennessee well with their fun original Bluegrass rendition of “When The [Latter-day] Saints Go Marching In.”

Starring:
Tony Huddleston (Mandolin)
Sister Kate Hargadon (Harmonica & Guitar)
Sister Carrie Smith (Fiddle)
Elder Jordan Zabriske (Guitar)
Elder Skyler Hansen (Tamborine)
Sister Lauren Bundy (Drum)
Sister Kayla Squire (Banjo)

BONUS TRACK!: The TNM was our sweet Daughter A’s mission, so near and dear to our heart!! ♥ Sister Abel & her companion Sister Nordstrom were recording artists while serving together in Thompson’s Station, TN in May 2013!

Check out their video:  Nearer My God To Thee. 😉

  1. These missionaries are at a member’s home in the little town of Livingston, Tennessee, just north of Cookeville. Livingston got its first set of missionaries just over a year ago, and there are now enough members there for their own branch (about 50 active members including 11 Melchizedek Priesthood holders) which should be formed before the end of the summer. As you can see, we’re blessed to have awesome and enthusiastic missionaries!
