The Cutest Little Valentine Video!

As my friend Haylee watched her children make their valentines this year, she decided to take a more “hands off” Mom approach and capture the creative process as it naturally unfolded. The resulting video made me grin from ear-to-ear, so of course I had to share! Enjoy! – MoSop

Musical Trivia: The delightful song in this video is called A Bushel & A Peck sung by the lovely Doris Day (b. 1924). Originally written by Frank Loesser for the Broadway musical Guys and Dolls (1950), this song was [sadly] cut from the movie version and replaced by a forgettable song with the dubious title “Pet Me, Poppa.”… [Yep, really!] ♥

BONUS!!

We have been experiencing nothing short of miraculous weather in Utah. Last night I walked out of the office just in time to see this glorious sunset! I called it my “Valentine Sky” from God. It just doesn’t get better than that, folks!

  1. That is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time. I remember all those old Doris Day movies, so that really rang a bell with me. When I was a kid, probably preteen, there was a neighborhood movie theater and Mother would give us a quarter for the movie and a quarter to get a treat. I remember a movie with Doris Day, might have been Calamity Jane, where she sang The Deadwood Stage, at least I think that’s the name of the song. Anyway, those kids in that video were precious, and so is that Mother for letting them make that mess. Those are precious memories that they will remember all their lives, and the lesson of sharing cookies with the neighbors. Priceless.

    Love you, Lynne
