General Conference – Just Do It!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year again. The April 2016 General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be broadcast from Salt Lake City beginning Saturday April 2 at 10:00 am Mountain Time, and extend through Sunday April 3rd, during five 2-hour session blocks. Options to watch, and a link to a Live Feed will be available Here.

A lot of people have been working very hard behind the scenes getting the Conference Center ready for this big event!

I invite you to be sure to join me by tuning in via television, radio, satelite transmission or YouTube. Check out all of the ways you can find Conference here.

And of course, I think one of the best reasons that you should watch Conference is so that you can hear me sing [with 360 of my closest friends] during the Saturday morning, and Sunday sessions. 🙂 Of course, the music is going to be wonderful!

Watch #LDSConf. Just Do It!

OK. Just in case someone starts feeling all offended. This last video is an April Fools Joke. In the USA on April 1st, we play pranks and jokes and say “April Fools!”. I have no idea why. We just do. And, this was my attempt – in keeping with the theme of this post.

  1. No, I didn’t make this video.
  2. No, Mormons do not clap or cheer during General Conference – although sometimes I secretly wish we would – like when President Monson announces a temple in ROME, or the epic lowering of the Mission Age. And, I always want to clap when President Uchtdorf makes another airplane joke (although it is acceptable to laugh)…
    just saying.
  3. Keep smiling, have a great day, and enjoy #LDSConf Weekend!

APRIL 2016 – NEW APOSTLE SONG!

Last but not least – to end on a little more “appropriate” note – here’s a catchy little song helping you get to know the LDS First Presidency and 12 Apostles (updated in April 2016)
