Today is Valentine’s Day in the USA. The day for celebrating love! We often give boxes of heart shaped chocolates, flowers, or stuffed animals to the people we love. Generally, this is thought of as a “romantic love” kind of day. But, as the poet song lyricist said – “love is a many splendored thing”, and it is also multi layered. Love is for everyone.
We all are loved, and we all have love for someone in our lives. If you cannot think of anyone you love or who might love you back, there is always your Father in Heaven, who loves you more than anyone ever can or ever will.
And so, today let us celebrate by giving some love to someone. Tell someone today that you care about them. That could be as simple as saying “hi”, or giving a hug.
