TONIGHT, TONIGHT! ♪♫♪ – The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is sharing a special performance of Handel’s MESSIAH in it’s entirety with the world – LIVE streaming tonight Friday March 23, 2018 from the Tabernacle on temple Square in Salt Lake City!
And yes, I will be singing (front row- to your left).
7:00-7:30 PM Mountain Time: A 30 minute pre-show , interviewing conductor Mack Wilberg, and sharing a history of the masterwork.
7:30 – 10:00 PM Mountain Time: Watch the full oratorio performed from the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
When we think of Handel’s Messiah, we often think of Christmas – primarily because of the Hallelujah chorus. However, Handel’s Messiah was actually originally written and performed for Easter. The oratorio tells the story of the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
