On Saturday I gathered up the family and we planted our garden. As previously blogged, this year I ran out of excuses, and our community “garden experiment” has been launched. Well, Saturday, we finally planted (potentially) living things in our spot, and we can now say we have an official “garden”. Mind you, I have no idea what I’m doing. This is a pure leap of faith. But, it was fun to put things in the ground and water them, singing a little prayer over it. The Children’s Song “Faith” came to mind, which says:
“Faith is like a little seed. If planted it will grow!“
