In Las Vegas, Nevada 300 young people between the ages of 12-18 came together to express their testimonies of Jesus Christ through a special musical program.
The 2013 Mutual Youth theme of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is taken from a scripture found in the Doctrine and Covenants 87:8:
“STAND YE IN HOLY PLACES, AND BE NOT MOVED”
In a sweet video, the Las Vegas Youth shared their feelings about their experience expressing their testimonies of Christ through music, and also their thoughts in general about how to create a Holy Place no matter where you are.
“Wherever you are, you can bloom where you’re planted and make it a special place, and a Holy place.”
