A Valentine For Marriage

There’s an old song made famous by Frank Sinatra that says “Love and Marriage go together like a horse and carriage, you can’t have one without the other.” Simplistic, yet true. People may try to put the horse before the cart, or attempt to make the cart keep moving without the horse … but, eventually that doesn’t work out so well, and no one’s happy. In April 2011 Elder Richard G. Scott of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gave some wonderful marriage advice. His talk inspired today’s video, which highlights some of his priceless points, and shares additional messages from married couples about their “Expressions of Love”. Perfect. – MoSop

Elder Scott’s brother’s grandson is on a mission right here in my ward. He is a delightful young man whom I have loved getting to know. I can see how love runs deeply in that family.
