After returning from our epic 3 week European Tour the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square had no time to rest . We immediately began rehearsals and tech-week for the annual Pioneer Day Concert which was performed on Friday and Saturday July 22-23, 2016. This year’s guest stars were our dear friends The Kings Singers.
My favorite song from the entire concert was the special medley of Primary Children’s Songs arranged by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s Associate director Ryan Murphy.
It’s so beautiful. I get tears each time I hear it. These songs are very precious to me. Their pure and sweet gospel messages are universal.
As you will see, this was clearly an audience favorite. Enjoy! – MoSop
