General Conference Excitement Builds!

It’s the final countdown to Conference Weekend for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Every day my excitement ramps up another giant notch! Here in Utah, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir (and 2 guest Choirs) will be rehearsing many extra hours this week for the five two-hour sessions. I will be singing in the Saturday morning session (10 am Mountain Time), the Sunday morning televised program of Music & The Spoken Word (9:30 am Mountain Time), and both Sunday morning (10 am MT) and Sunday afternoon (1 PM MT) sessions.

Since several of you have asked, here is a photo for your “Where is she?!” Conference entertainment.

(hints: #1. the Soprano section is to your far left when looking at the Choir loft. #2. I’m short).

General Conference is one of the most exciting times of the year for me personally!

First, it’s an opportunity for me to sing my faith, hope and love of Jesus Christ to the world from the amazing Conference Center in Salt Lake City.

Second, it’s an opportunity for me to sit at the feet of a living prophet and apostles of God, and hear the word of the Lord being spoken in real time.

Third, There is always at least one message (usually many more) that’s tailor made just for me and my current circumstances. Always!

I know for 100% certain that there’s always going to be a personalized message waiting for everyone who listens. Including you.

Because an apostle promised it.

Today a “fan video” was released as a General Conference Trailer created by a young man named Quinn Pitcher. This is so fun, I just had to share it! I think this video captures some of my EPIC EXCITEMENT I feel every time I prepare for watching General Conference and also some of my EPIC EXCITEMENT to share Conference with the whole world.
