Camino Inglés Training Hike

Only 9 more days until Spain!! This is going to be a crazy busy and exciting countdown week! So many things – all good things – are all converging at once! Next weekend is General Conference for my churchThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be singing in three of the five sessions; Saturday morning, and both Sunday sessions. You should check it out and it’s free to stream it live here it’s going to be very inspirational and awesome (and I’m hearing all kinds of rumors about possible changes and exciting announcements! … stay tuned).

Because of Conference taking up all of next weekend, today was our final day for our longest training hike and a final full gear test. I created a video of our epic day. The first 2 minutes we talk to you (and it’s really windy and kind of hard to hear us, sorry!), and then there’s a photo montage of the 2 hour morning walk and then the 5 hour hike later in the day on Parrish Creek Trail (a very steep, hot, difficult climb – but a nice reward at the top)

7 hours of walking & hiking with our full gear in one day – not too shabby! And so far, we still feel great. Two thumbs up for our gear.

BONUS… Mr. Mo did it all in his new Sport Kilt, of course!

¡Buen camino!- Holly

P.S. If you are interested in learning more about any of the gear mentioned in this video, just let me know. 🙂
