Missionaries serving in the England London Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently created a cover of the popular David Archuleta / Stephanie Mabey song “Glorious” from the film “Meet The Mormons” [now available on Netflix]. Of course, I had to upload and share it with you today! 🙂
I’m lucky enough to know the leaders of this great mission and have enjoyed following their adventures on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. President David J. and Sister Holly Jordan (seen at the end of the music video) are from my Ward (church congregation) in Bountiful, Utah. They’re darling.
The Jordan’s three year mission service is coming to an end soon. I know that leaving London and their beloved missionaries is going to be a heart breaker. They’ve loved their mission and their mission has loved them.

About a year ago I noticed Sister Holly Jordan had created her own hashtag and started using it with every post she adds to her Instagram and Facebook page – #makeeverylastdaycount.
This seems to have become one of the motto’s for the mission.
MAKE EVERY LAST DAY COUNT.
It’s a nice mash-up of two popular sentiments; “Live every day as if it is your last“, and “Make every day count.”
Something good to ponder and worth asking ourselves.
It seems there are a lot of talented singers in the England London Mission, and a lot of sweet faces! Enjoy the new video. – MoSop
LYRICS of GLORIOUS – written by Stephanie Mabey, Sung by David Archuleta
[Verse 1]
There are times when you might feel aimless
You can’t see the places where you belong
But you will find that there is a purpose
It’s been there within you all along and when you’re near it
You can almost hear it.
[Chorus]
It’s like a symphony just keep listening
And pretty soon you’ll start to figure out your part
Everyone plays a piece and there are melodies
In each one of us, oh, it’s glorious
[Verse 2]
And you will know how to let it ring out as you discover who you are
Others around you will start to wake up
To the sounds that are in their hearts
It’s so amazing, what we’re all creating
[Chorus]
It’s like a symphony just keep listening
And pretty soon you’ll start to figure out your part
Everyone plays a piece and there are melodies
In each one of us, oh, it’s glorious
[Bridge]
And as you feel the notes build [haaa]
You will see
[Chorus]
It’s like a symphony just keep listening
And pretty soon you’ll start to figure out your part
Everyone plays a piece and there are melodies
In each one of us, oh, it’s glorious
There’s more than one way to bear a testimony – and music is one of the best!

Thank you Holly for your kind, kind words.! We honestly didn’t expect this to do anything but make our missionaries happy. It has made them absolutely glow to know that others like what they put together. I am massively proud of them. Though it is difficult for me to say…we will see you soon! Love to you and your family!

I would really love to use the song Glorious! Can anyone help me to find and purchase the instrumental backing track in A Major please?

Hi Kelly, the song was being offered as a free download last year through the MeetTheMormons movie website. That offer has expired. I’ve put out some feelers and will let you know if I find it.

Kelly – here is a response from the composer of the song “Glorious”, dated Sept. 30, 2015
“Thanks for reaching out. They will be re-releasing David’s version of Glorious soon. (I haven’t heard an official date yet, but I think it’s supposed to happen next month.) I’m not sure if they plan on releasing the minus track or if that was specifically for the competition they did last year. I wish I could be more help!
Thanks 🙂
