Laura Osnes Sparkles With The Mormon Tabernacle Choir

Each year the Mormon Tabernacle Choir honors their Pioneer heritage with an enchanting concert at the 21,000 seat Conference Center in Salt Lake City. A special guest artist is always invited, and for 2015 the 2-time Tony nominee sweetheart of Broadway Laura Osnes joined in “Music for a Summer Evening“.

Laura Osnes played Cinderella in the Broadway revival of Roger and Hammerstein’s classic musical opposite last year’s Tabernacle Choir Pioneer Day guest artist Santino Fontana (read more about that concert here!).

As usual, this year’s Pioneer Day concert was a hot ticket event – but, luckily it has been released to the public through the Choir’s official YouTube site for you to enjoy and share!

As an added bonus, Ms. Osnes stayed the weekend in SLC and was a soloist on the weekly Sunday TV broadcast of Music & The Spoken Word.

What a delight! Every member of the Choir, Orchestra and crew has fallen in love with this lovely princess. She is a sweet in person as on stage. I’m so glad to have Laura Osnes part of our forever musical family! – MoSop

  1. I saw the first broadcast! It was Wonderful!!! Someday I will be there in person. A long time ago I marched in the parade with my primary children! Thanks so much for your continued missions….singing in this magnificent choir, and spreading the message of the gospel through your blog.
